Enabling/Disabling Tabs #
Quick switch tabs are placed at the topmost part of the app on the trade screen. You can click on these tabs and quickly switch between trading pairs. Please note the quick tabs are enabled on the charts through the ‘Tabs’ button on the status bar located below the chart.
Note: When you disable the ‘tabs’ on the status bar, it is highlighted in white color on the status bar.
Adding/Removing Tabs #
We have introduced a more customizable feel to adding tabs. Tabs from now on will not auto-generate but now be driven by user preference. There are two ways to add tabs; see below for the three methods.
The first method is to add a tab directly from the tab bar. Users will see a “Add tabs” button.
Click that, and you will be launched to a popup to search and customize the tab.
From this window, you can search for the pair you are looking for and filter it by your preferred exchange.
Once you have selected the pair, you can customize it by selecting the time intervals per your trading strategy.
Finally, after selecting your preferred time interval, click the “+Add” button.
The second method to add tabs is when you are using the HotList. As you scroll through the pairs and are ready to add the pair from the hotlist, hover over the pair, and you’ll notice that two icons appear. The second icon is to add the pair to your tab list quickly.
Note: To remove tabs, simply press the “x” located on the top right of the tab, and it will be removed, or you can right-click on the tab and close all tabs to the right, left, or close all of them.
The third method to add tabs is located on the top banner of the chart; see below:
Grouping Tabs #
You can now group your tabs. This is extremely helpful if you have certain exchange pairs you trade or if you have pairs that you trade short-term vs. long-term. To group tabs, you can right-click on the tab you wish to group and select “Add to Tab Group,” then either create a new group or add the tab to an existing tab group.
Once you select “Create New”, a popup window will appear where you’ll be asked to name your tab group.
Once you have named the group, press save.
And you’ll notice on the tab bar, tab with your group name with the count of how many pairs are within that group.
If you want to view the tabs within that group, just click the tab, and a drop-down will appear with all the tabs contained in that group.
Note: Another quick way to add tabs to an existing tab group is to simply click the tab you wish to add and then drag it on top of the tab group you wish to add to.
